Skipper Tadhg (Ted) O’Driscoll retires on the 8 May after a total of 42 years in various ferry services to Cape Clear Island from 1964. There will be a function in the Club on Sunday 19 May starting at 1pm and his friends, colleagues and Island Community are invited. Travel to the Island will be provided free of charge for those wishing to attend by confirming at info@cailinoir.com or by contacting Ted or Séamus directly before Monday 13 May to ensure sufficient capacity. The sailings depart Baltimore at 11 am and 2pm, returning from the Island at 5pm.
