Another book to be published shortly will add to the extraordinary written and cultural heritage of Cape Clear Island. This is a collection of words and terms in the distinctive local Irish, collected over 50 years by Professor  Ó Buachalla who sadly is no longer with us. This part of his voluminous works have  been edited by James McCloskey and Cathal Goan and will be launched on the 16 November at 6pm in the Institute for higher Education, 10 Burlington Rd, Dublin 2 and there will be a hearty welcome for members of the wider Island Community.
